How to get to the Congress Avenue Bridge?
The Congress Avenue Bridge is located in downtown Austin, Texas. The closest parking lots are at the Driskill Hotel and on East 11th Street between Trinity and San Jacinto Streets. There's also a garage next to the Hilton that you can get into from Red River or Sabine. You can't miss it if you're walking along Congress Avenue.
The closest bus stop is at Congress and Riverside Drive, Red River (northbound), or Cesar Chavez (southbound). The bridge itself spans Town Lake with an impressive length of 2300 feet. It's 167 feet high above the water level. It has six lanes for vehicles as well as sidewalks on both sides which are great for pedestrians.
